![]() But the thing that made me really enjoy this book is the author seems to be so self-aware of it all? There are a lot of hilarious moments of meta-commentary within the book. It’s got an elite boarding school, the new girl in town, secret supernaturals, family birth secrets, royalty sort of, cliques, manic pixie dream cousin, insta-love, etc. If you’re someone who loves tropes then maybe this is a book you want to check out. ![]() I had a lot of fun reading this but I’ll admit I’m a little conflicted about how I actually feel about it in terms of quality.
